What personal data we collect

We collect your email address, a hashed password, and document metadata (filename, timestamp, processing status) required to operate your account.

Document storage

Documents are stored on our European infrastructure for processing and delivery. Documents are retained for up to 30 days to allow you to download your results, after which they are automatically deleted. You will receive email reminders 7 days and 3 days before deletion.

Where your data is stored

All data is stored exclusively within the EU (Poland and Germany). We do not transfer personal data outside the EU/EEA.

Legal basis for processing

We process document data to perform our contract with you (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Account management relies on our legitimate interest in operating and securing the service (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Data retention

Account data is kept until you request deletion. Processed documents are retained for up to 30 days for delivery purposes and then automatically deleted. Processing metadata (timestamps, document reference IDs, processing status) is retained for 90 days for operational and security purposes.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, portability, restriction of processing, and objection. To exercise any of these rights, email contact@stripdoc.com.

Cookies

We use essential session cookies only. We do not use tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies.

Sub-processors

We do not use third-party sub-processors. All processing runs on our own European infrastructure.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify registered users by email.
